Everything goes well on the Monday that I start my diet but i'm finding it so hard to stick to it and exercise is non existent at the moment .. feel stuck in a rut I eat when i'm down then I feel down because I have broken my diet so eat more its like a vicious circle ..

Hi Lottie,

You said that 'everything goes well on the Monday' - so maybe think about the things you did yesterday that helped you to stick to your goals, and try using those again today. Also, you could try writing a list of activities that you would potentially enjoy that don't involve food to cheer yourself up - maybe 'going for a walk' 'reading a magazine' 'phoning a friend' 'having a bath' - whatever you like personally that might help, and then when you find yourself feeling down, you could try something on the list, and see if it helps?

Each day is a new day, and hopefully you can break the vicious circle. Hope the rest of the day goes well for you. :-)
