Come on you Friday weigh-in people - that Monday lot did really well so you've got some competition here!
I've just weighed inat 97.1 kg which compares with 98.4 kgs last Friday. So it's still going in the right direction and that's 9 kg down since 11th January.
Had a really bad day yesterday. Very bad computer trouble(malware) I had my son take over my machine all the way from NZ. He worked miracles, and It is all fixed up again. Due to the stress of it, I over indulged by about 200 calories. I am right back on that bus today. Must not let one blip spoil the whole plan. Will not weigh in today, but try to put things right for Monday.
Hi moutere,
Just remember - 'Operor non fatigo super talea sursum incumbo in fossa'
Probably! (subject to verifcation by Latin scholars!)
Another 2lbs off this week - That's me down to 14 8 from 15 6 - another 2lbs and I'll have done the first stone!!! No idea what that all is in Kgs. I think about 12 and a half gets me into "normal category" so a bit to go yet and I'd ideally like to get below the top of the normal range to give me a wee bit leeway - see how I am feeling when I get that far. Rarely getting hungry yet but think my ability to eat lots is decreasing. Had a M&S Fuller Longer curry the other day - 460 calories but struggled to finish it.
Actually, a stone is 6.35 kgs, (or if you prefer 3 stone is about 19 kg).
Yes, that not getting hungry thing!
Interesting that and probably - like me - you thought the only way you'd shift any real weight was to go around virtually starving yourself half the day.
Amazing how quickly your mind and body adapt to new realities, isn't it?
In fact, it's quite the other way around. Weight loss is so much about not starving yourself, but eating a well balanced diet and making sure you do get your nutrients in, but not smothering them in loads of unnecessary calories. And doing that in sensible and reasonable portions.
Hi everyone,i have lost another 3 and half pound this week and 1 and half inch off my waist that means to date i have lost 6 and a half pound, start weight was 15st 5lb now 14st 12 and a half. I have already noticed a difference in my joints and also my clothes arent quite so tight so well pleased, keep up the good work everyone
Well, despite not really counting cals over the past week (valentines day + other half's birthday I've managed to lose another inch and my weight has stayed the same so I'm well happy!
Didn’t lose much weight this week and had a couple of nasty weight gain 'spikes', but now I’m no longer obese/very overweight – just overweight – WHOO HOO !!!
Overall, from 01/01/2013 the changes have been:-
Weight 99.7 kg down to 88.8 kg
BMI 33.42 to 29.77
Waist 47 to 41 inches
Body fat 38 to 34%
Muscle 58.0 to 62.2%
Still going to the gym every day – can’t see any Abs yet but I was shocked to see a definite “n” shaped abdomen cavity forming! Never had one of those before!
