A technique that I first met studying Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) many years ago.
Basically, you 're-frame' your perception of the food from nice to not nice by focusing on an aspect of it that you don't find appealing (or create a bad aspect if there isn't an obvious one).
Let your imagination go wild and you can find an unpleasant image associated with many problem foods. The mind is such a powerful thing. 😊
