Thanks for all your support. I do find the site a bit difficult to navigate. But hopefully will get better with practice. So good luck everyone. X

Hi again Aginghippy, I understand that you're back from your holidays. I hope you had a good time. I've taken the liberty to copy the welcome message that moreless gave you on your 1st day. You managed to post on a weigh in which was brilliant.

Now you're back I hope you have a little more time to follow all the links in the welcome message. Use the web site as opposed to the app. I can assure you it's worth doing until you know your way around.

Maybe this could help you get started healthunlocked.com/api/redi...

All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts .healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh..... and I hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially the daily diary.

If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.

Wishing you all the best :)

Thanks, very helpful. I'm sure the more I use it the better I will get. My main obstacle is cutting down the carbs that is everything that I like!! Can I still have the odd gin and slimline to drown my sorrows ??!

The main reason I need to lose weight is because I need knee operation. I find it difficult to exercise or walk far is because I need knee operation so bit of a vicious circle. Anyway thanks for your help and support. Let's see how I get on next Tues.

I needed to lose weight because of arthritis, and I was going to need further surgery. I used that as my focus, I wanted to be pain free and feel fit and well MORE than I wanted to foods that were tempting me.

Lowering carbs was helpful, but more important was the mind shift, that these so called “treats” weren’t really treats, they made me fat, feel lousy, and simply weren’t worth it. My body has carried me round all these years, produced three children and survived potentially serious illness, it deserved to be loved and cherished with good food. Once you can get your head around that then rest is plain sailing 😊

I lost the weight, finally had the surgery last year (ankle fusion) and am feeling great just now. If I can do it, anyone can 👍

I'm assuming you were wishing to thank the people that had supported you on Saturday's weigh-in, so I shall tag them in for you Racheller Dietbunny2 Tonkabella

This will help you to tag other members in future support.healthunlocked.com/...

Remember that you can respond to your replies by clicking on the notifications you receive at the top of your screen (the yellow bell)

The weigh-in will be open between 9pm Monday and 9pm Tuesday (UK time) after that, the replies are turned off and you won't be able to comment, but you will still be able to click the like button.

I hope this helps :)
