Iām Jade, 22 and a mummy to my daughter who will be 2 in December, Iām not used to putting me first and thinking about this but now I am Iām finding it very hard to stick to a diet or exercise where Iām doing it by myself and not finding the motivation due to my
Mental health.
I would like to help and motivate others as I would love for others to help motivate me too! Iām starting again Monday at the gym to do exercise aswell as clean eating to try and lose some of this weight!

Let me first say that if you mean the HU app, then you would be better discarding it and logging onto the full website, as otherwise you'll have difficulty navigating the forum.
Follow this link to our chat thread and a list of all the activities we run. We've found active participation to be key to success, especially with our weigh-ins and Daily Diary.
For me I love so much rubbish food, McDonaldās, sweets, chocolate, the list goes on so I mean healthier foods such as salad, salmon, chicken and rice etc...
Iāll take a look at the daily diary to see and share, thank you
The Daily Diary can be addictive and many of us find it a permanent help to maintain a permanent focus. Planning soon becomes easy and there's so many great ideas that we pinch from each other.
Once you've been here a while and started reading the posts, replies, links etc... you'll find that what you call 'rubbish food' is mostly rubbish because it is carb based. When we eat carbs they are turned quickly into sugar in our blood stream. This does give us 'a rush' whilst at the same time, our body is producing insulin which is turning that sugar into fat. The biggest downside I find is that it then leaves us feeling low and potentially craving more carbs.
I agree it could be very difficult to put yourself first especially if you have kids, however it looks like you have a great plan with the gym and healthy eating
That is great , you will keep having that feeling every time you leave the gym and even feeling better in few weeks time when you start shedding those pounds little by little but surely. Good luck
