It sounds like your current plan is no longer working for you so I think, if you want to get things moving, you may need to move on for it. My observation would be that Slimming World is very heavy on carbohydrates and the thinking now is moving away from a high carbohydrate and low fat approach. Maybe do some reading and viewing for yourself and see what you think. Here are some starters

I think people are aware of sugar added to things and "sweet stuff" generally but it's harder to get your head around how food (particularly carbohydrate) is converted to sugar in the body.
Yeah that's the thing. We look at the labels and look for low sugar and sodium options but I know I don't really think about carbohydrates being converted into sugar.
You aren't going wrong , I'm not dropping weight only losing inches .I read that you are losing fat not muscle which is good .you don't want to lose muscle which a lot of people do .
I recently did a challenge at the gym and they encouraged us to use MyFitnessPal and track macros. Originally they started me out on 40 protein 40 fat and 20 carbs but I struggled so we altered it 40 protein 30 fat 30 carbs. Basically, you just need to make sure that for each meal it’s 40/30/30 and they encouraged us to eat every two hours so you have three meals and two snacks a day. Might be worth looking into!
I'd be very wary of that advice about eating every two hours. Every time we eat, our bodies produce insulin which is very efficient at storing fat. Current thinking tends to go the other way. You might be interested in these.
Hi fizz1987 - well done on your amazing loss and dropping those dress sizes!
I am wondering how tall you are and also what your age is. The shorter / older we are, the more critical it is to be aware of "portion sizes" and understand that all foods, however healthy, have calories!
I'm a 4ft 8" 56 year old who's not very mobile because of a disability, so what I eat is critical for my weight loss success....
