Hi, im sorry to hear about your relationship, please resist the food and wine, itll make you feel worse if you pile loads of weight on ! Besides, you need to be looking good to get back in the saddle ! x
Hi
I too have come out of a failed relationship going thro divorce, drunk alot of wine, stopped that,
Ate alot of chocolate reducing that now
Now trying to resist the negative thinking when I get on the scales & they dont say what I want them too
Be kind to yourself but not in food ways
I go for long walks, taken up yoga & pilates
Sorry to read about your relationship. Good advice above. Focus on yourself now, and in a positive way. Pick a realistic goal, and pick yourself up and get strong again. Wishing you all the best.
Damien
It was not what you would call a "failed relationship" - but I put on weight after my late wife died - and it was about nine months later that I joined this group and lost weight.
You have to find motivation within yourself - but you will get support and encouragement here.
