Hi, Currer ... Welcome to the group.

If you know what is fattening, and what constitutes a good diet, it is possible to loose weight without counting calories... I have lost a stone at two pounds a week, and now intend to loose another stone at one pound a week.

Hello, Currer, welcome to the Community. If you haven't heard from one of the wonderful admin team, I am sure they will get in touch soon. You're not alone on tiring of logging things but it is essential to ensure that you keep on track (note to self - update log ASAP). You mention starting exercise tomorrow - any ideas on what form of exercise you want to do yet? I just walk mostly with line dancing classes twice a week but if you travel a lot for work it's probably not an option to do any sort of activity class. Anyway, hope you find it helpful to lose weight and stay healthy and once again welcome. :-)

Hi, the logging becomes easier as you go along, and the benefits of keeping a track on your intake definitely make the effort worthwhile. Most people use a free app for logging food and activity, so that's worth looking at.

Make sure you eat enough: get your calorie range from the NHS BMI calculator and start towards the higher end of what it suggests
