Look through all the information you were given in your Welcome Post. Read round what is happening here. Join in. Ask for help. You WILL lose weight if you do all these things.
Don’t be so hard on yourself and Try not to be so disappointed if you aren’t loosing weight. Some weeks you may not loose weight but loose inches instead.I was supposed to start today but am bed bound with my back but I cut a piece of string that fits around my waist at the start of my diet so I can see for those weeks I don’t loose weight if the inches are coming off. It might help.

You can loose weight, you just need to get your mind set in the right place. So, once you have checked your BMI and calorie allowance by reading through your Newbie pack as MissisB has suggested, get a notebook, write down a menu for the next few days and then go shopping for all the healthy things that you need and get rid of all the things that you can't resist, from the house.

Happy Birthday Hun, and your not disgusting, I know that's easy for me to say but your not. You are a beautiful strong women that needs to believe in herself😊. I've been the same weight for a year 1/2 and it doesn't matter what I do or don't do nothing changes. The extra stress of a holiday is making you feel down but I believe in you and I know you can go it. 🎉🎉🎉 cheering you on

Haha I'm a veg hater also, but lots of healthy recipes & food that don't include the dreaded broccoli, carrot, cauliflower etc 😖
If you really want it then you will do anything to make it happen.

Dont give up - you are here which means you want to do something about your weight. Shopping can be really tough but it doesnt take away from all the thinks you have done so far, including thinking about losing weight and committing to this forum.

Don't panic, you've taken a great first step. 👏🏻Please don't put yourself under too much pressure thinking you have to lose all you excess weight before your holiday, just start making changes that will make you healthier in the longer run ... anything you lose before your hol will be a bonus. Great suggestion from lucigret, maybe think what food you do like and try to adapt it to be healthier. Even chips can be done 'healthy'. If you like curries, pasta sauces and casseroles you can 'hide' veggies. And lots of protein will keep you fuller. You are lucky to have a girlfriend who likes cooking and is a good cook I'm sure she will help you get on the right track. Anything worth it is worth the effort. You've had some great replies ..we are all cheering you on. 👍🍀
