Nearly caved!

I’ve only been at it a week and already the cravings are hittingback, I’ve so wanted to give up and just eat whatever I wanted in whatever quantity twice! I’m trying so hard to keep on track, I didn’t cave, thank god! Just need to keep up the positivity!

don't cave, Hannah, don't cave. Have a big glass of water, brush your teeth, get busy with some ironing or housework until the cravings pass, which they will. Think about why you want to lose weight, how nice it will be to wear clothes in a smaller size. You can do it

Thanks Rutheliza!

I talked myself into by saying, you’ve just lost 4lb and you know you aren’t happy at the weight you are so just stick with it! Aha. I’ve just got to keep my mind occupied when I’m not doing anything I think! I had a long walk around the goose fair and that made me forget the cravings thank god!

pcrw is absolutely right Hannah21 😊. Good habits take time to develop, anything from 7-21 days on average.

Practice makes perfect, well done you! 😊🎉👏🏅

Well done for your self control, positive attitude and coming on here for support and encouragement.

Have you got any non-food distractions listed to help you?

Maybe a 5 minute exercise burst or a little job that needs doing?

Keep up the good work and you will be happier for your determination and results.

Minniewinny I hadn’t had any distractions listed. I used to read a book but I’ve just finished the one I got, so maybe it’s time for a new book! Maybe some drawing or a walk! Thanks for the ideas!

Yeah I enjoy the food I eat and I’m rarely hungry, if I am I’ll drink water and eat fruit if I get peckish! Guess it was just a weak moment!

lovely to hear that you survived the dreaded cravings.. it sounds so simple to manage but when you are in the middle of a crisis it is hard not to cave in! You are an inspiration. Keep going!

Not sure, I think it’s because I’ve been really busy and got a little stressed so all I wanted to do was eat.
