First ever weight recorded - Week One.

Well. First day!

Have just entered my weight and waist size.

Scary and depressing!

But I'm feeling positive I can do it.

Especially if we all encourage each other.

No naughty nibbles this evening. A good start lol.

Have a fab Tuesday everyone.

Of course you can do it. A peek at some of the success stories on here will reassure you of that. Slow and steady, celebrating every small goal reached, kicking set backs into touch and keeping in touch on this forum where you will always find a listening ear will get you there in the end. Treat every day as a new start and above all DONT QUIT. Good luck🤗

Thank you so much for the encouragement! I definitely like the idea of treating every day as a new challenge. Brilliant.

Well done Shuggett73, looking forward to seeing your progress.

I can understand the 'scary' bit, I still get like that now... although that might be a 'me' thing. But not depressing, this is the start of a great, good journey to where you want to be.

Perhaps think about breaking your journey into a series of small trips :) such as your first 1/2 stone or something else that makes sense to you.

Have you thought about joining today's weigh-in with all the other Tuesday Trimmers?

Glad to hear you're feeling positive that's bound to help you.

Mm. I don't think I would feel comfortable enough for the weigh-ins just yet. Will think about it. But think I will split it up to bite size chunks. Thanks.

You would be amazed just how positive joining a weigh in proves to be. For a start you are brave enough to own your weight and accept that that point is the first step on your ' journey '. You accept that you alone are accountable for success or failure but above all you are the recipient of support, encouragement, congratulation or consolation from others who know EXACTLY what you are going through as they are having or have had the same troubles and triumphs as you are experiencing. What you will never be on the receiving end of is judgement. That is a dirty word on this forum. Good luck. 👍

I like the idea of being honest with myself and the motivation is what I have been lacking. This will really give me that much needed push. Thank you.

Well done for starting! I'm a newbie too, and empathise with your 'scariness'.

It feels motivating to read about what other people are doing. You can do this!!

I know! We must encourage each other! I lost all my baby weight after child number one, then it all went to pot after child number two! He is now 8. Time to do it for sure!!
