Just a quick note to say I am afraid I have put on 2lbs (now weigh 16 st 6 lbs). I gave up the diet yesterday. But I haven't given up, I am going to be eating sensibly today, so wish me luck. All the best JP.

Good luck. I've had a few weeks like that recently but so long as we put them behind us and get back to our plans the effects are soon gone.
JacksonPollock I gave up on the diet and began healthy eating 2weeks after starting when I read some very helpful advice from moreless, it's definitely working for me and it's taken the stress off, meaning I'm enjoying myself and losing weight slowly but steadily.

Imagine going down a road and you hit a road bump what do you do? 🚗Carry on going down that road back on the smooth part and you will reach your destination. I have recently hit many bumps but the smooth parts make up for it lol.😢 Glad you have positively put it behind you good luck for the weigh in.👍
Thanks Itsbab I will keep trying, I find I am compelled to come back here time and time again, thanks to the week something of 52 even if it is not good news to report and just by doing that I have to reassess what I am doing, and it gives me a timeline, I have a lot going on at the moment, but if I could just make a few small improvements I will probably be okay, even if it is only a small weight loss or stay the same.
Do not worry about the gain it is not a big gain. This is a nother week and it will soon be of. It can be a up and down just try and take it in your stride and do not give up. Here's to a new week onwards and downwards.

It must be something in the water Jacksonpollock. I've had a bad week. I've gone over my daily allowance almost everyday. Not looking forward to weigh in tomorrow. The important thing is you recognised it and didn't give up. That takes real determination so be proud of yourself.
