I drink water and wait to see if it takes the hunger away.

After that if that doesnt work then a walk around the block. If it has been a couple of hours since my last meal then I take a snack like a banana or an apple or some low calorie ryvita.

Why not use that to your advantage? Plan some recipes to try out, make a healthy shopping list ready for your next shop?

I exercise which distracts me and I usually don't feel hungry for about an hour afterwards.

Drink lots of water - that makes me feel full!

I agree with the idea of going for a walk to take your mind off food. Any form of exercise is a good idea as it burns calories and helps tone your body. Alternatively, take up a hobby that keeps your hands and mind occupied. I don't snack while I'm knitting, for example.

Try drinking water and eating some seeds. Might just curb the hunger feelings.
