The good thing is that you are doing so,thing about it - now, before your weight creeps up further. You are young, so that is in your favour. Don't just see the end goal. Take each day on its own. Try to plan what you're going to eat for the day - write it down and work out the calories. Hide any food that you shouldn't eat (biscuits, chocolate) somewhere where you won't keep seeing it. Try out some healthy recipes (if you are the one who cooks in the house). At the end of each day, decide whether you feel it was an excellent, good, bad or disasterous day. Aim for more good or excellent days by the end of the week. It takes much longer to lose weight than it does to gain it (sadly) but losing weight doesn't have to be all doom and gloom. I feel you can exercise, take yourself out for a 30 minute walk. Walk normally for 50 paces and then walk briskly for 50 paces, etc.

Welcome. Try not to think in terms of a diet being deprivation but as a change in your way of eating that will make you healthier. For a start try cutting out processed foods and foods high in sugar Reduce your portion sizes, try putting your food on a smaller plate. And a trick that is shown to work , chew every mouthful for at least 35 chews before swallowing, and drink plenty of water.

Good luck and keep posting

Set yourself a smaller goal to start with achieve that then aim higher. Try to fill up on the healthy stuff, especially veg. I make huge pots of soup and freeze them in portions and have that for lunch. Don't totally deprive yourself of something you love just have less of it less often. A good thing for tightening up your tummy is a power Hula hoop (you can buy one cheaply in ARGOS and Hula Hoop to music where no one can see! It is a good laugh too!
