I was carrying my 4 month old god-daughter at the weekend and my back was beginning to ache. I asked my niece how much she weighed - 12lbs. That's the weight I'm trying to lose. OMG!

Hi Ottomummy,

Just think how much better you'll feel when you've lost those 12 pounds - you can do this, and we're alongside you for as long as you need us! That's what this forum is all about - support and encouragement, and hopefully you'll be lighter week by week, and feeling so much better.

Lowcal :-)

It never vanishes overnight, as it goes you see do many little things adding up, rings fit better, winter boots less snug, and so much lighter on your feet!

Takes a while for it go on, and a while for it to come off, good luck X

I have noticed that with all the walking I'm doing, I'm no longer stiff and creaky when I get out of the sofa of an evening, and definitely feel fitter.
