2) lost a total of 4 lb taking me into the tantalising 12's
3) bought not only a ball gown (have I already mentioned that?) but also another size 16 dress; that "size 14 dress by Christmas" challenge is looking like a possibility.
4) I spontaneously broke into a run to avoid a sudden downpour - I didn't know my legs could still do that!
5) I did floor exercises at the gym and sprang up again like a kitten up a tree when I had finished (getting up from the floor used to be a simply awful when I was at my heaviest and I really dreaded it).
6) I realised it has been many weeks since I last had ankle swelling or night cramps (which used to wake me up EVERY night without fail!) and now the swelling has gone down I have managed to buy some "ordinary" shoes from a High Street shoe shop.
7) I have started to actually enjoy the gym.
Well that's enough of my waffle; I'm off down the gym now to celebrate. Think I might start working on my Jessica today (core strength as in Jessica Ennis tummy!)........
Good luck all. Onwards and downwards x

I think you're right there. I had to run for the train last week. Like you I was really surprised I could!
I like your list, it's given me a real boost this morning. Because you're right, even if I haven't yet gotten where I'm going there's loads to be thankful of on the way !
Running is such an unexpected pleasure VickyDLM and I am so glad that you are feeling good too. Sometimes the journey is better than arriving at your destination and I am on a long, long journey so intend to make the most of it x
That's really true, I'll definitely have to keep that in mind. If I wait until the end of this journey to enjoy myself I'll have missed all the good in between.
Thats terrific Kaluchi, 3stone is a real landmark.
I have gained 1lb since last Monday, due to overindulgence for hubby's birthday.
I should have hidden his Hoibnobs (present and he is a diabetic) but instead got through them myself. Must be more disciplined, I knew what the result would be, i am a masochist!
Am determined to do some serious calorie cutting and hope to see some change by Thursday when I post on the Last Few Pounds Club. Your reslt has made me see the benefit of extra exercise! Well done and keep going!
