A banana or other piece of fruit, or a granola bar of some kind. You could try making your own or there are some on sale which are not too full of sugar and fat. Even just a handful of nuts, seeds and dried fruit?

I've no idea about being diabetic but I do believe that breakfast is the best way to lose weight. If you skip breakfast then you can end up snacking. Breakfast also kicks off your metabolism as it's been quiet while you've been asleep. I love porridge and you can get them in packets where you just add milk, I use almond milk, less calories, and microwave for 2 mins and your done. Pop in a banana and, as it's porridge, it is a slow release food so that you don't have a sugar spike followed by a quick sugar low. You can add yoghurt to the porridge the night before and leave it in the fridge ready to eat in the morning. I would recommend full fat yoghurt as it is far more filling than sugar filled low fat and your body needs fats to metabalise certain vitamins.
I don't like sweet things generally, even less so at breakfast!! But could you have eggs? Cheese? On a sandwich or omelette? Frittata to take with you? I struggle to eat Breakfast early snd often go straight to 'brunch' after a couple hours 😊
Do you use/own a DEXCOM system? Have you talked to your Endocrinologist? Have you been told to count carbs. for each meal and snack?

I eat protein bars for breakfast, lunches on the go and a "normal" dinner between 75-80 carbs. EXCEPT for holidays and special events/birthdays. I'm type 1.
Heya. Overnight oats is handy. Just mix a handful of porridge oats with enough plain yogurt to make it the consistency of porridge. Add extras like a spoonful of chia seeds, pinch of cinnamon, sprinkle of chopped nuts. Cover with cling film and put in fridge. In morning top with sliced banana and a little drizzle of raw honey. It's very filling especially with chia, and keeps you going.
