Week 11. PMA πŸ˜€πŸ’ͺ🏽

Hello all 😘

This week was all about my night away. It took a lot of planning and babysitter arranging so my mind was set on just enjoying myself and not worrying about food/drink choices. I have had a gain this week of 2lb and I am absolutely ok with that. A maintain was the aim and I had been focused on the diet right up until Friday. I've had a great weekend so 2lb in the grander scheme of it, is not a massive bump in the road.

Today is my mums birthday. I've made a big chocolate cake and a family take away tea is planned. Tomorrow is 100% back on track so I'm aiming for a 2lb loss for next Monday. I have no occasions to distract me for a good few months now so I will be totally focused. Next mini goal is 3lb off to get me back to a 1 & a half st loss. I'm positive I'll hit that within the next 2 weeks.

Mentally, I feel in a really good place. Even though I have been off track, I feel positive about my healthier eating and exercise. The couch to 5k is making me feel brilliant too! I'm a dreadful runner but I'm having a go and I really don't care who's watching or what I look like. I've found a field to run around in a nearby park and I love it. I can do this!

Onwards and downwards πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ’ͺ🏽πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ˜€

Start weight: 14st 4lb

Current weight: 13st

Total lost: 18lb

Still to lose: 49lb

Hi I wouldn't worry about 2lb if you have had a fantastic relaxing break and your stress levels have probably benefitted from it. As for the running, good on you things can only get better just do a few laps of the field to burn up the chocolate cake you have to have a piece for mums birthday. You sound like a woman on a mission.

Yeah I am Itsbab haha. I had a good 9 weeks on track and things went pear shaped. I feel like I've learnt how to deal with the bumps in the road. Something I couldn't do previously. I'd have just given up. I'm in it for the long haul now πŸ’ͺ🏽

Hi not so tiny, you are so right I myself have what I call a cheat day once every week and still see the weight come off and it gives me something to look forward to each week πŸ˜€. I started the 12 week plan on Tuesday and notice that your start weight is the same as mine so hopefully I will do as well as u have

Hiya esull πŸ™‚ Hope your finding it easy to get into that diet 'zone'. This site is definately a great place for support and inspiration. I'm up and down a bit at the min but knew I would be with celebrations planned so I haven't been beating myself up mentally about the odd day off. I'm back on it from tomorrow and I'm actually looking forward to getting back in that zone! There's something that's surprised me. Make sure you give yourself plenty of mini goals to aim towards. It helps me loads πŸ˜€. I look forward to seeing how your getting on. We can do it πŸ’ͺ🏽

I am finding it very easy which I am surprised about. I hope this feeling lasts but as I am an emotional eater I am sure I will have days where I struggle. But as long as I overindulge in moderation the scales won't punish me too much :-)

You are right not to beat yourself up one thing I refuse to do is diet on special family occasions and whilst away on holiday and any weight I gain I will work extra hard to get off afterwards.

Not what you're looking for?
