That's so true! I will try to remember that.
I have never been able to understand how some people can survive on what seems like one meal a day - I feel I need to eat something every 4 hours - but have found things like cup-a-soup's, fresh fruit (in moderation), lots of herbal tea and coffee with skimmed milk, sugar-free jellies etc will stave off those hunger pangs and that awful wilting feeling when your sugar levels dip.
This is why we can succeed on 1400 calories a day rather than the old 1000 calorie a day diets of days gone by!

Me too 😊 Need regular meals, also need a few carbs, or else I get so hungry all my will power goes out of the window 😊 But as nuttynanna says, it's a real mind changing moment to realise that life does not have to revolve around food. 😊

Thanks for brightening my day, Nutty. Always enjoy your bulletins from the front. Managed walking yesterday, up from 300 steps to 11,000. Feet a bit tender. Lost it a bit foodwise. Still working that one out for the full horror. And had a pint of beer. Realise now that it should have been water. My third plan for this week is drink more water. Why didn't I think of that? Because they offered me a sample! Forgot to kcal that! Not even in the diary! Ah well, onwards and downwards. Venus
