Busy, happy weekend
Hi Happymary, good luck with your plans to make Monday weigh in count! I'm trying to do the same! I find week ends very difficult tho! Sundays especially! But with small meals & exercise I'm sure you'll do well! Good luck anyway!
Great work. Am right beside you on this one!
For the first time in a million years I will not be supping bear and eating nibbles through 3 rugby matches!!
Luckily I only have housework planned - an early spring clean - so hoping my mind will be on de- cluttering and not food. Wish me luck with both
Hi Happymary,
I think you're very sensible and it's great to hear you've planned both days of the weekend to help cope with it in advance of the Monday weigh-in. I have also tried to make some changes to help to cope with the weekend, in terms of a daily pledge which I've added to Asic's post on that subject. Let's hope we are successful and can make the Monday weigh-in count!
Sometimes people ask why the Monday group weigh-in is on Mondays, and I have to say that whilst I recognise that often weight can 'go up' a bit from Friday to Monday, knowing that a weigh-in is on a Monday, means that hopefully 'weekend damage' can be limited by good planning, and so it is great to hear you're doing just that. I think you are going to do really well on Monday, and you'll live up to your name and be a 'Happy Mary' indeed.
Just think if we'd all weighed in on Friday, and then thought - 'Oh great, it's the weekend' we don't need to weigh-in again till Friday, I'm sure the weekend would be a different matter. (Don't tell Juliet this though, as she weighs in on Fridays...)
Have a lovely weekend.
