To look good for christmas: Hi, was out... - Weight Loss Support
To look good for christmas
Hi Behappynow,
Maybe now is the time to put yourself first, you have loads of time to make a change before Xmas, a few of us have joined Sueper in an Xmas challange why not join us ?
Emotional eating is hard to change but you can do it, have a look at the NHS 12 week plan it's not another diet just sound advice on how to make changes that work for you.
Keep in touch
😇
Hi Flossie, Thanks for mentioning my little challenge
Here is the link behappynow if you want to join us. healthunlocked.com/nhsweigh...
Lots of people have set themselves targets be it weight or getting into a certain sparkly number. Something that will make us all feel a little more positive as we head to Christmas knowing we'll over do it.
So many of us here suffer with emotional eating so keep using this site for support it really is a great place.
Good luck
Hi Sueper,
I mention you a lot I think it's a great challange and one we can all focus on wether want to lose 1 Ib or 20 Ib 😃
I've just come in from visiting my sister in law to relive our holiday( yes did have a tiny mojhito) and I talked about our Sueper Santa challange hope that's ok😃
👼
Hi Flossie, of course it is fine to talk about the challenge, so glad it is helping to inspire - let's face it we all need as much help and support as we can get.
Hope you're having a great weekend and enjoyed your holiday reminiscing
Don't think that you're the only one, I doubt there's a person on this forum that feels/felt happy buying clothes when their body image was shot to pieces.
I can't remember the last time I walked into a shop to buy clothes, I only buy online. Clothes shopping used to make me seriously depressed.
If you're wanting to buy something nice for Christmas, why don't you leave it a few weeks, because you'll probably have lost a few pounds by then and will feel much happier about yourself and then, if you still think you'll feel like the "fatty", try shopping at Evans, or online.
It's important to remain positive, so avoid shopping for a few weeks and concentrate on the weightloss. That sparkly little Christmas number will wait for you to be ready
I often pick stuff up at eBay, monsoon stuff suits me, and their sizings are right for me too
