End of week 3...

OK, so I had a bad Saturday where I just didn't count the calories and it annoyed the hell out of me. However, having said that, I weighed myself this morning and found that I had lost yet another 1.9 kilos which means I have passed the 1 stone of weight lost so that is a very good positive.

Am due to go on holiday shortly so am considering taking a break from the weight loss program whilst I am on holiday albeit, I'll weigh myself before and after I return from holiday.

Hi Blunta congrats for reaching 1 stone, hope this gives you confidence of knowing what works enough that the holiday doesn't need to seem full of challenges, you can just apply the knowledge you've gained so far but without monitoring everything so closely. For example one day's blowout on Saturday didn't seem to affect this week's weight loss, so the odd day of going over on holiday won't affect your progress too much either, as long as you are mostly sensible. Perhaps set yourself a realistic goal e.g. to stay the same or perhaps allow for a small gain, then it's back to following the plan closely when you return. Hope you have a great, well-deserved break :)

I think that your new found knowledge will still be influencing your food choices whilst on holiday, well that is what I'm hoping will happen when I go on holiday in a couple of weeks.
