Looking for motivation to keep on going. I've lost 1.5 st from July last year until now.
Need to carry on though...4.7 stones to go. It seems so much, but I know it will feel easier once I get going.
Thank you!

More healthsidekick Spam, don't you ever give up?
Sounds like you are doing fine and are going in the right direction. Making small achievable changes for the long term is by far the best plan. Just think how much the quality of your life is going to improve once you reach your target weight.
Good Luck.
You are doing great!...try not to focus to far ahead in terms of how much you want to lose, embrace the lbs and ounces you are losing and have lost, Google a 1lb of fat, you'll be amazed as to how big it is and envisage it on your body that really helped me, trust me before you know it you'll be at your goal weight
You have already done really well - you must look and feel different to when you first started 1.5 St ago. Imagine how much better you will continue to feel with every 1lb you lose. Don't focus on the 4.7st - make another target - say another 7 lbs. as Olsbean says make small changes and they will gradually become good habits and help you maintain your healthy lifestyle into the long term. I find great motivation in going backwards through my wardrobe - I still had clothes from thinner days which fit me now I am 2 stone lighter. Or buy something new as a treat and to remind you how far you have come. Good luck and keep coming back here to tell us how you are getting on - you can do it!
You have done very well, I know how hard it can be , cuz I too have lost 1.5 stones since last July!! In my case, I had a bit less to lose, 2 st .
I started last April. The first 7lbs came off early on, then it has taken from July until now to SLOWLY shift another 20lbs. As of today I am only ounces from my target weight. I know the path is a slow one but you have done so well so far, dont give up, just think of a half stone at a time, you will get there!
