75g dry weight. gives 198 calories according to my wee book.

Depends on you, I personally have a small amount, and tend to chose rice or spelt pasta as easier to digest, normally I have a recipe.

Mama rice noodles are good, a square cooked is 125 cals, the pack contains 4 squares, cheap too

And Wholegrain if you can. The fibre helps. I'm experimenting with something I saw on a documentary. Cook it, cool it in fridge overnight, then reheat. Apparently you convert fewer calories that way, I cant remember the reasoning but it was to do with several hours at low temperature. As I'm not a great pasta fan I only expect a few ounces a week, but all contributions are gratefully accepted.
