Day 2 went well, 1467 calories. Have decided that I will aim for 1400 but as long as I stay under 1500 I will be happy.
Decided I will post my daily calories to help keep me on track.
Hope everyone had a good day yesterday.

If it helps then why not? anything that motivates us and keeps us on track can only be a good thing. Glad its going well. Im on week 4 and start to get cravings its horrible, especially since been on 12 hour shifts, so not much chance of exercise either, but stuck to my cal limit of 1200-1400 per day. Day off tomorrow so lots of exercise hooe the rest of your week goes well
Well done for sticking to you cals limit, 12 hour shifts can't make that easy. Totally sympathise re cravings, I have a sweet tooth and it's not always easy to resist but I've found if I have too much coffee that tends to bring on sugar cravings so I try to limit how much coffee I have now. Don't know if something similar might be the same for you, just a thought. Hope you enjoy your day off and have a good week.
I have found that I need to just be chewing when I am trying to be determined about getting weight in check. I need bulk so having big portions of vegetables (especially) is really good. I used to chew chewing gum all the time but now make a travel mug of coffee, make two apples into wedges and shake them in a food container with a little lemon juice (to stop them going brown) and about four carrots peeled and cut into sticks. This has now turned into a kit which I have with me when I start work in the morning. I can turn to any bit of it when the eating deterrent effect of having cleaned my teeth wears off - (it's the mintyness). If I am expected to be travelling without assured eating plans or stops then I take that kit plus a packet of Sainsbury's popcorn (about 50 calories and in three flavours) plus a little tub of fruit with 0% yoghurt and a little granola sprinkled on top. It is heaps of chewing, loads of vitamins and is low in calories overall. You can be eating all day without sabotaging your efforts. It is working for me - so far - and means that I don't get to the end of the day with just a tiny calorie allowance.
