Yippee - 2lb off at this morning's weigh-in :-)

I know that I still have quite a way to go, but I'm so happy that I lost 2lb when I weighed in this morning. Last week's loss was a miserly 0.4lb - which myfitnesspal scathingly rounded down to zero! And the week before that, I even put on 1.6lb. I'm especially pleased as I've been unwell this past week and have been unable to do any exercise since Sunday!

It's certainly perked me up! 6lb off in 5 weeks is certainly steady as she goes. I just have to keep it up! I'm now fully stoked for my tae bo session tomorrow morning.

Wishing everyone else continued progress with their healthy living journeys - especially everyone who has the same weighing in day as me.

We can all do this!

Y x

Well done! Keep up the good work. Remember if you are tempted to eat mindlessly just think about it for a minute and say I will not eat this just now but if I really want it in an hour/day whatever then I will have it. Then do something else, go for a walk, phone a friend. Chances are the craving will go away. x

Thank you myrtle123 - that's a good tip about the "not just now" message. I'll definitely be using that one!

Hi. You have done really well considering you've not been feeling well. I will also use the tip about not having it just now. Went for a walk today and was hungry when I got back so had an apple and grapes but then had a slice of toast too.

Thanks Thistle72. I tend to have a snack BEFORE I go for a walk - normally a slice of wholemeal toast and peanut butter. Then when I get back, a glass of water seems to be all that I need. How's your journey going? I want to lose about 3 stone, but I'm taking it a half stone at a time. Just a pound away from my first half stone...

Hi Yinxfed, that's for the tip, I'll try that. My journey is ok, only started this week. I've done loads of exercise and watched my calorie intake. But think I might be eating the wrong thing. At the end of the day when I think I've done well I check on my fitness pal and I'm way over my carbs. I didn't realise there was so many carbs in veg. Anyone got any ideas?
