Do you use a pedometer and manage 10,000 steps? 6,000 is mine on a good day! does 10,000 mean the average, more if exercising? thanks

I use a pedometer but because of painful arthritis, I have set myself a personal target of 5000 steps PLUS 20-30 minutes of other exercise a day, namely an exercise bike and time on the Wii-fit (aerobic exercise - I dont count the balance games as exercise as they are not vigerous enough to count). Set your own target according to your own health - and increase these targets as your health improves and your current target becomes 'easy'. Hope this helps.
