Week 2 - 2lb loss!

My first week and a 2lb loss. Not too bad. Doing couch to 5k on week 6 so I'm pleased with that. I could have tried harder so I'll see if I can better my loss this week! Perhaps 3lb? Good luck to all and DO NOT touch those biscuits!

Hi CheshireCatkin,

1 to 2 lbs a week is just fine as a rate of weight loss.

I wouldn't try to lose significantly faster than that - though you will have your blips and spurts.

It's just the way it happens and lots of different factors cause it and the thing to do is just keep on with your 'good' healthy eating and exercise/activity nonetheless.

I've been 'stuck' for nearly a couple of weeks at about 81.5 kg and this morning, compared to yesterday, I've suddenly lost nearly a kilo!
