Advice Please!

I was diagnosed with PCOS many years ago after seeing a locum GP who noticed the hair on my back. Over the years though I've never really had any treatment, I've just lived with the symptoms. I'm not ovulating at the moment as I have a contraceptive inplant fitted. I'm getting married in May and then I want to start a family, but I am concerned as I am very overweight and have struggled to lose weight. I know that my BMI will be too high for them to even consider fertility treatment. I've made an appointment with my GP for the 6th November to look at options, does anyone have an advice on what I should be asking, I want help to lose weight and improve fertility,

I personally would get the implant out sooner rather than later, it can make all the symptoms worse as well including weight gain. Are you able to go on the combined pill initially as this increases the chance of your body being less pcos so improves the chances of conceiving quicker once you come off it. I find being on the combined pill makes it much easier to lose weight as well.
