has anybody had any improvements of hirstism from treatment and what worked x

I am on the combined pill which does slow down the growth. I have also had laser which has got rid of 90% of it (not permanent though)

I had a mixture of vellus (soft) and terminal hair (coarse) on my face and I am currently having laser. So far it has made most of the hair return in a much softer state. Only halfway through a course of 8 treatments though and apparently it isn't permanent but I had too much hair to want to do epilation which is meant to be permanent. After the laser I will go into epilation to control the growth long term as hoping there will be far less to treat

you mean electrolysis rather than epilation - epilation is a plucking machine!

Epilation is the term for all hair removal below the skins surface, including electrolysis, epilators, waxing, threading etc

Oh is it, I didn't realise that - apologies - just was worried you were thinking an epliator was permanent.
