I came across this inspired story from People magazine how Elenor Pigby, 7 month old little lovely animal currently brings so much joy to students who have learning challenges at Summit School. She along with her buddies Sawyer and Scout the goats inspire everyone to hike and participate in school activities. They enjoy belly rubs, tomatoes, pizzas and snacks from everyone. π·ππΆπ§ππ€π
Iβm joyful to see these lovely animals are considered as peopleβ friends, not food source; and hopefully with this exposure to their intelligence and loving nature, in time everyone on this planet will understand and have more compassion to these animals. π
Have a wonderful weekend everyone! π±π€π

Today has been a kitchen afternoon and watching films and catching up on the washing here which has been nice and relaxing as sometimes it's nice to be in on a Saturday.
I have made a fish pie for lunch tomorrow and also a root veg pie for later on in the week to reheat when I'm ready.
Last week when I was away my friends and I got commended by one of my friends parents for our understanding and gracious attitude when a place said they had run out of Sunday dinners so we had other things which we really enjoyed instead.
What a lovely group of friendsπ€. That goat is really eyeing that pizzaπ€¨π... Children have such a deep harmony with nature and animals like Eleanor. This is a great example and glad you shared it with us. Its a great reminder they are our friends, not foodπ. Have a restful nightππ
Yessss thatβs where my eyes zooming in the adorable goat, he loves pizza πππ€£Absolutely the bond between children and animals is very pure and loving. I think when we include animals in our childhood, we start learning how to give and receive love along with responsibilities to keep our fur babies safe and sound also. Cats and dogs are traditional pets which we most acknowledge of and this I find very endearing to include pigs and goats in children mind the concept of all animals deserve love and care as they are capable of responding to a whole another sentimental level that we human need to acknowledge that. π
What a great uplifting story π· Thank you for sharing this with us. Eleanor Pigby π has a very cool name, too. Anyone who has animals in their life knows they are friends or family and not food. It's really good that Eleanor Pigby and goat ππ friends are participating in the children's life as friends and companions.
Awe Iβm so glad you enjoyed this story as much as I do. π€πYess such a beautiful name for this 7 month old girl and she hikes, she gets all these children to get going and uplifting their spirit in class. Iβm so glad they introduce these animals besides our traditional dogs and cats into their lives in this schoolβs therapeutic program. ππ
Even some of us donβt have a chance to expose to these animals but thanks to social media, I hope this kind of story can invoke the deep loving feeling of all human towards all animals that they are capable of showing love, interacting and well deserved our love and care.
We shall rescue than killing/consuming animals for food/fashion/household sources. Thatβs the harmony with the Universe. Whatever old beliefs of traditional food as beef, chicken, pork need to let go. People can hold on to those but itβs time to let go as the whole world is raising the awareness and changing their way for more compassion and climate crisis reverse.
Iβd love to see stories and photos of your wonderful fur sheep babies π as everyone will be able to see them beyond food and fur for consumption. πππ

I feel that by accident I have been done a favour when they put the price of beef up to a silly price recently as I looked on it as an opportunity to try something else and that I have done.
Awe thank you Debs, this kind of story just makes me feel so warm and fuzzy inside. π€π While waiting in physicianβs office, I was just going through these magazines and Iβm glad to see this type of magazine still has a small corner for these lovely animals. ππ
My eyes did go towards the sooo adorable face of the goat like heβs smiling and eyeing the pizza, telling them he wanted some. π
Yes Debs the love and compassion is not only limited to traditional cats and dogs pets but All animals deserve our love and care as they are absolutely capable of give and receiving love from human. π€
This is when social media does animals justice by speaking up for them and we shall cherish and embrace these amazing living things on this Earth π π
That's an awesome feel good story. Eleanor is certainly a roll model. I'm glad the kids are able to interact with her and all her friends and be active and happy. This brings to mind a pig by the name of Chris P. Bacon hahaha, but a superstar in his own right
No bacon Kainan, we shall omit that term here. ππ€£
Iβm glad you enjoyed this story. Iβm surprised People magazine does include this story into their columns. π Mental health is important for these children who have learning challenges and Iβm so glad animal service is used for their therapeutic program. Animals are friends, not food or consumption. ππ
Howβs Stella doing? Hope she has plenty of treats and keeping warm in this weather.
