Today I made my first Lentils Dhal dish with garlic naan. ππ
Recipe for Lentils Dhal:
1. Soak variety of red, green and black lentils overnight and drain.
2. In medium heat pot, sautΓ©: olive oil, grated gingers, onions, garlics, cumin powder, chili powder, coriander powder, tomato purΓ©e, coconut cream, vegetable broth and a bit of salt to taste.
3. Cook lentils until soft and add handful of spinach as the last step.
Garnish with chopped cashews and cashew yogurt and enjoy. ππ
Recipe for gluten-free garlic naan:
1. I use 100g of gf flour to make 2 naan.
2. Add: 1/2 tsp of xathan gum, baking powder, psyllium husk powder and mix well.
3. Add 110 g cashew yogurt and kneed into a ball and divide into 2 portions.
4. Use a roller to flat them out, add fresh basil leaves and minced garlic mixed with coconut butter and a bit of garlic salt.
5. Heat in a regular pan until crispy and brown.
