Here is an interesting link to an italian water cake. You can use orange juice instead of water which might be nice. Or change the flavour to coffee or cinnamon.

Thank you, I will have to try this to make a change from my usual vegan cake. I haven't been baking much these last couple of years so will have to get going again.

Thats interesting. So do you know if it's quite a heavy consistency? Yes it looks lovely. It's funny it has so much water in it.

I thought that. I haven't made a cake with oil before, just use a wartime accidentally vegan recipe.
