As some of you know I've been looking for Spelt flour for about 4 weeks now but have been unable to get it because of panic buying.
I rang Holland and Barrett, they had some Buckwheat flour in stock and kindly put some back for me which I appreciated.
Here's the result and I now have some bread and it tastes good - yay😊
You stuck gold Alicia - finally found some spelt flour, can you magic up some tinned tomatoes please 😀 Your bread looks lovely, I have visions of some hot tomato soup with that delicious bread of yours
I really did Debs. It's Buckwheat bread and I'm very pleased with it, hope I can get some more baking powder though.
Strange but yes tinned tomatoes are lacking aren't they, Tesco didn't have any last week either.
A perfect combination, tomato soup and bread, what's not to like.😋xx

Thank you Ali. I wasn't keen on this one so have a different one in the oven now which has natural yogurt (I've gone for Coconut as I'm not good with soya) and a small amount of brown sugar. I found the first one wasn't the best of flavour, I much prefer Spelt but Buckwheat is all I was able to get at present so I'm playing round a bit with recipes.
