Very interesting Ali - especially in the states but will it mean over time there will be no cattle, farm animals in the future?
Well I donโt think there were ever meant to be so many animals mass produced the way they are today and they have such a miserable existence and many donโt even see the sun so yes naturally livestock will decrease and things will change but I donโt think thatโs necessarily a bad thing.
There wonโt be as many but I doubt people will stand by and let any species become extinct. As I know you will agree eating animals to keep them from going extinct isnโt the answer but I donโt know what is. I personally think not being born at all is better than a life of misery.
I completely agree with you Ali, I just would love for them to be allowed to graze in fields and have warmth and shelter and for people to love and cherish our beautiful creatures.
To be honest all these animal rights emails I have been getting, have really effected me - I am not strong enough to deal with all the evil things that people do to them
Hi Ali
Thank you for sharing.
I don't like to hear about loss of jobs but on the other hand jobs will be created in other areas, a new system will not run on it's own for sure.
As I've read many times animals do not drink each other's milk when they have stopped weaning, it's us humans that are drinking the milk. You don't see a baby grow into a child and still drink their mother's milk, so why are we drinking cow's milk, particularly as it's extracted in a painful and cruel way.
Things are changing at an alarming rate and only for the better as more and more people are thinking about the planet and global warming. I'm not sure about the long term i.e. what will happen to the animals, we don't want cows, sheep etc to become extinct but I'm sure they could live happily in the wild.
Just my thoughts but I'm not changing my way of eating and buying things, I will always be a Vegan. I'm always on the lookout for new products that are better for the environment and natural.
I donโt know what the answer is but we go to great lengths to protect animals from going extinct so I donโt see why it would be any different. We donโt eat cats and dogs in this country but there are still plenty of them around ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Yes you are right there and I didn't think if our much loved domestic animals that are spoilt rotten. In fact our black fluffy monster is resting on his daddy's tummy.๐
Wouldn't it be good to own farm animals and watch them run around. Also, we could have farms where families visit and could pet the animals, that would pay for the upkeep, I'd love that.
