Interesting letter in my magazine about B12

This is something that probably some of you know but I wasn't aware of until I read the letter in my magazine about B12. It's about B12 being present in the soil and that we have become too sanitised so the vitamin is obtain artificially now, even for animals.

Hope you enjoy the short read.

Alicia :)

Interesting post Alicia, I do believe b12 has a close link with bacteria, and soil which is why I have been experimenting and brewing the kombucha, apple cider vinegar and water kefir.

The kombucha and apple cider vinegar produce a scoby, a jelly fish like film over the surface of of the liquid, they multiply in my kitchen rapidly so I did an experiment with the surplus scoby - I minced them up and put them onto the soil in my veg patch, the result is a big increase in large pink healthy looking worms!

Healthy soil, healthy worms and fungi spores must produce good food, I am now using a no dig method of organic growing, hoping this healthy veg will help my transition to a completely vegan diet, eventually. 🤔🙂

That's a very good reason for brewing your own kefir.

I've seen pictures of scobies online. Wow, what a good idea to use it in the ground, I would never thought if that but makes perfect sense.

To be honest it sounds like the perfect plan to me and it should make your transition to veganism easier. Also, growing your own is satisfying and much cheaper.

Here's to your own very healthy veg.

😀
