WARNING: only read on if you don’t mind discussing one of our basic bodily functions!
Since I’ve switched to a vegan diet my B.M’s have changed tremendously. I was always pretty much a once a day person. And if you’re familiar with the Bristol stool chart the “consistency” pretty much encompassed the whole range but on the whole not bad. Now they’re always the same: very soft, although formed...and voluminous! Like they’re trying to climb out the bowl! (sorry). Frequently more than once a day. All this I can live with. The one element that is a little troublesome is the urgency. Finally I get to the reason I’m testing your preparedness to read a post on this subject, which I appreciate some may find distasteful. Is all of this a typical experience for someone who switches to a vegan diet?
