After crazyfitness posted about whipped cream I thought I’d give it a go and see how it turns out. I had homemade beans on toast for lunch and thought it would be a good excuse to use the aquafaba. I used cannellini beans and it worked fine. It didn’t take too much to whip it up. It’s very aerated so doesn’t have the heavy feel of whipped dairy cream.
I’ve put it on to a plate to try and give a better idea of consistency, I would says it’s the consistency and taste of meringue but not as heavy. I hope this is helpful.
