I made these apple flapjacks today as a neighbour gave me some apples off of her neighbours tree π
Iβve also put some sliced apples in the freezer ready for apple crumble. Every week my son says have you made apple crumble mum and now I can shock him my saying yes, actually I have.
I love it when people give me things like this. It seems like an extra special gift. Earlier in the week we were working in a ladyβs garden and she was so lovely and grateful for what we had done and when she paid us she also gave us a bottle of damson brandy she had made. I love it! People are so kind....cheers!

Yes Debs we are very lucky. We have lovely neighbours both sides which is just as well as the ones to our left, we only have a low wall dividing our gardens and they are very close but lovely so we donβt mind.
Hi Cathie, I donβt tend to use recipes so guesstimate it a bit. I try to add as little sugar as I can get away with and substitute butter for the pure vegan spread from Sainsburys. I donβt usually put ginger in mine but it might be worth a try. Cinnamon would be nice if you like cinnamon.
Here is a recipe I found on line which is along the lines of what I did. So I help this helps.
