Hi everyone, I made this cake on Friday which is healthy apart from the icing. It’s a basic sponge mix with orgran egg substitute and half a cup of soaked dates instead of sugar. Mashed bananas and plenty of walnuts.
I cut it in half and have put that half in the freezer for another day 😋

Ooh, yummy Ali. As soon as I saw cacao in your heading I thought I must try that one. I'm going to make that one, how I love freezers where you can freeze for another day.
Thank you. I used two bananas but I think you can use as many as you like or just one would be fine. Unless you really like banana flavoured things I wouldn’t add more than two as the banana taste gets stronger each day. I would definitely add the walnuts they really make it. It’s a bit like brownies. Very nice. I just chuck everything in without measuring and then mix it. Seems to works for me. Good luck 🤞🙂
