Hi, I’ve been meaning to make chapatis for a few weeks and today I had some spare time so decided to give it a go. I made them with organic stoneground and wholemeal flour, mixed together with water, dried chillis and a pinch of cumin and pepper. Originally the idea was to have them with curry but as I made them at lunch time I decided to make them into this sandwich while they were still warm with salad and Hellman’s Vegan Mayo which is so delicious. So far I think it’s got the best taste to others I have tried.
The salad was leaves, red pepper, cucumber, celery, chilli, onion and fennel.
This was delicious and the chapati are very quick and easy to make which ticks all of my boxes.
Have a great day!

Your not wrong Ali, yes I used to buy it from Sainsburys but they stopped selling it and have replaced it with a vegan mayo called follow you heart - its rather sour 🤢
That’s a pain....In our sainsburys follow your heart is near the vegan options and Hellman’s is wth all the other mayonnaise on the usual shelf up high? Well I’ll have to stock pile it then. Lol 😂
Thank you for pointing that out, I was trying to find it in the vegan and the free from sections, when in Tescos I found it with the normal mayo - picked up two jars, its too good 🙂
This look gorgeous Ali, your chapati looks very professional and stuffed to perfection...😊
They look delicious Debs and I would love those. Because of you and others on here mentioning the Hellman's Vegan Mayonnaise I went and bought some, couldn't agree more, it's delicious. 😋
