After BridgeGirl posted about trying 30 different vegetables in a month, I decided to do a little experiment to see how many different vegetables we eat in a week. I made a note of what we had between last Sunday and Saturday and this is how it went. I think next week will look pretty similar to last week so I am going to make an extra effort to try and find other vegetables to give more variation. Although there was more variation than I had expected so I was pleased about that.
I'm going to have to do that. I won't do it until I'm eating better though. I have a feeling that pot of Vegan Curry I had last week may have been off as I've had nausea, a bit of an upset tummy and loss of appetite ever since, at least I won't put on any weight eating naughty treats.
Some of the ingredients might surprise the andyswarbs watcher... I am experimenting with increasing nuts and various other things. My health has been so good recently I have decided the time is right to widen and see if I get any arthritic reactions. So far no reactions...
Peanut butter is tricky for me. I've found that eating freshly ground is fine, but if I buy some that has some oil that's separated out, it can taste a bit rancid and is probably not good to eat. Has anyone else noticed this?
