Hi everyone, I for one enjoyed the episode and was impressed with the efforts I liked the savoury tarts the most and want to have a pop at some of them.

It was good wasnβt it. I thought it all came over in a positive way and I hope viewers were inspired to make something vegan and they could see itβs not that difficult once you know what to do. Maybe some coffee shops will cotton on as well and see how easy it would be to add a vegan cake to their selection.
First time I've ever watched GBBO and I quite liked it, although as I'm unfamiliar with the format it took me a while to realize that only this episode was going to be vegan.
The use of chickpea water as an egg replacement was new to me, and I found this link about it:

I thought it was good that the program showed the successes and failures with vegan baking and that it is doable but you have to get everything spot on.
