Breakfast choices came up recently so I was interested to read about this product Just scrambled egg mix made mostly with water and mung beans, so here's a link to it in Livekindly:
I like the look of the spiced chickpea one the most and do like the sound of broccoli noodles I could eat oodles of them...
And here's a great you tube video how to make scrambled chickpea, it reminds me of making polenta with coarse yellow corn meal, so I expect that could work as well:
This looks good Jerry I have made a similar thing which was a chickpea omelette. Recipes are great when they come in video form. Chickpea flour is high in iron, protein and fiber so a great choice. π
Hi Veeee, this is a link to the post from when I made it on here. I made one big one and cut it in half. It doesnβt taste like eggs obviously but it is very nice. I think for best results chop quite a lot of vegetables small and make the veg the main event not the chickpea batter. (Onion, courgette, spinach, pepper for example). Itβs nice with brown sauce for breakfast.
You can also do little ones.
Also....Itβs basically how you make onion bhajis as well. Chickpea flour, water, curry powder or cumin and loads of thinly sliced onions. Mix it all up and deep fry spoonfuls at a time.
