Top of the pile for me are flax seeds. Getting excellent omega-3 levels is so important for just about everything and flax seeds are the best source. Flax seeds need to be ground (eg in coffee grinder) otherwise the body cannot digest them. I am working towards a tablespoon daily.
Well that’s good to know as I have ground most of my flax seeds ready for flax eggs if I am baking and thought I shouldn’t have ground them all but now I know I’ve done the right thing! 😀
