There seems to be a problem with that link.

Nothing downloads or even opens

Hi, I tried it and it works for me. It might be because you need a later version of Adobe.

But I'm no expert.

I am having problems as well. I am thinking my Internet security might be a bit too tight.

Everything is up to date.

I will post if I find the solution. Hope you will too. Technology eh!

Just read the posts. Opened the Spring Newsletter. No problem! Everything as it should be.

However, tried the tag, then tried to open the PDF file. That only returned me to the comments page. So that maybe what the problem is.

For some reason there are a number of people who have said that the PDFs don't open for them. It is a largish document and took a couple of seconds to load for me.

I have, however, taken the Newsletter off the website, saved it again in PDF Creator and put it back in. It is working fine for me. I've spoken to the web designer again and he confirms there isn't anything wrong with the main server and there isn't anything wrong with the PDF I've uploaded.

Unless you have the latest Adobe it won't open. As the man says, if it opens for some and not for others then logic says the problem isn't at this end. Maybe you have some settings in your machine stopping it from downloading. I only put the coded information onto the website I don't know anything about the technicalities.

If you can't open any PDFs on the website then send me an e-mail and I'll gladly forward you your own copy.

I've just clicked on the link given by John. It certainly came back to this page and then it went to the PDF.

Try clicking on this one and scroll down to the link for the Spring 2013 Newsletter: vasculitis.org.uk/about/new...

Hope that helps~

Hi Andrew

I would say if it doesn't open with a few seconds then it isn't going to open. Other than download the most up-to-date Adobe reader and ensuring your Java is enabled I don't know what else to suggest.

Maybe someone who knows about such things might be able to give us a clue.

Its still not loading for me. Normally I get a sort of circular timer logo popping up.

It doesnt with this document. No error. It says loading but doesnt.

Still no luck opening this one, try sending it in 'Abode' or 'media player', please.
