Found this on Twitter this morning tweeted by the Department of Health regarding long term health conditions....
I haven't time to read all the links. But on first reading we are highly suspicious. Another step to privatisation? Will budgets be enough? If it is just for personal care that would be different but it mentions clinicians.Does it mean if you have spent your budget you would not be able to get referred to the correct consultant? Don't think it would be suitable for Vasculitis patients who have lots of differing needs at different times. It brings up lots of questions so we will read further.
Sam has just read it through and says on the surface it seems a good idea but like everything else seems it could get complicated and the budget is not much. Going from experience he gives it a year......
It is terrible to be old and cynical............

I would like to read the comments positive made by the patients themselves, what their illness is and the benefits they get from this scheme.
