The question must have been asked before but I can't find it. Is the Whooping cough vacination adviseable for Vasculitis sufferers who are on a course of retuximab and methotrexate?

I don't remember the question of whooping cough vaccination being mentioned here. Certainly shingles has.
As with all vaccinations it is imperative that we do not have live vaccines. I don't know whether whooping cough vaccines are live or not. As you are on Ritux and MTX I would recommend that you check this with your consultant or his senior nurse. Perhaps you could let us know what they say - that is unless someone else replies with better info than I can give.
