I have a diagnosis of cerebral vasculitis from around 16 years ago. Lately I have noticed raised pimples on my legs. Any idea ? Does anyone else have experience of this ?
many thanks

hi might be worth reviewing with your consultant as my OH had a reoccurrence of rash during a flare.
I’m assuming it’s not heat rash etc.
best wishes
Dear Blackgolf:
One of my diseases is CNS vasculitis, also diagnosed approximately 20 years ago. I have been a myriad of rashes ever since. One rash in particular occurs on my feet and ankles and resembles freckles. When that particular rash occurs, I know my CNS is very active. The rest of my body usually confirms. The rash stays a long, long time. There is nothing to do to rid yourself of it. I have had many types of rashes with this dx. I've been to dermatologists who can treat symptoms, but it really is signaling something to do with the vasculitis. It's best to make note of it and let your vasculitis doctor know about it. Ask her if she wants to see it. If she thinks it is necessary, she will give you an appointment. Take a photo of it for your own peace of mind so you are able to recognize it next time it occurs. Rashes are, unfortunately, unavoidable with a CNS diagnosis. I hope there is no pain or itching. I'm surprised you haven't had rashes before. You are apparently a very lucky lady! Be healthy, be happy.
