SCAMS, Yet Again!

Dear Everyone,

there are Yet More SCAMS, this one "There Is A Transaction For Around £900, Pending On Your Account.......'

Just DON'T GIVE ANY DETAILS AND HANG UP! Immediately contact, your own Bank/ Building Society and Report the Attempt. Don't become a Victim, to these People..... They Will 'have' your Car, Home and Lifetime Savings, before you even finish the call!

I'm aware that I am 'Posting' this to a Vasculitis Forum- is there a way to 'Post' to ALL HU Forums, so Everyone is Warned?

I am just anxious that No-One looses Out, to these- for want of a Better Phrase- Parasites.

Stay Safe Everyone

It is horrendous these scams. I was almost caught out because they knew all about my relations, where they lived and every detail and so i was convinced it was all above board, but thankfully just in time i thwarted the attempt.

I reckon at least half the country have received at least one scam email, probably a great deal more. I did a Neighbourhood Watch webinar yesterday on scams and the police spend 1% of their budget on scams. They think people would prefer they spent money on other things such as anti social behaviour. I am not sure they seem to spend much time on other things either!

Maybe you should post articles like this on a general chat forum rather than the health sites. Thedibb.co.uk has been highlighted in a search. They cover all current topics of discussion from scams to vegetable shortages currently. Hope this helps your dilemma.

I agree with booboo39, while your intention is kind, this site is for health related topics/concerns. There are plenty of other forums more appropriate for sharing your advice/warning.

There are lots of scams out there. This vasculitis support group is not a suitable place for posting about them. There are more general social media sites out there. I am going to close this thread for further replies. Please do not post any more scam warnings here, however well intentioned. Thank you.
